Septoplasty With a Side of Turbinate Reduction

Here I am looking real sweet! I was told all went well... I was given some Versaid, transported to the OR, talked to the gals, and them I swear Heather my nurse anesthetist must have pushed something without me looking 'cause I remember nothing after that until having them wheel me to post op and seeing Fred's gleaming face on the other side of the doors as I went through. There is some pain but its really not that terrible... They told me it would feel like I got hit in the face with a baseball bat for a few days... Maybe thats coming. But overall I have a great family who loves takes care of me and my God who loves and takes care of me... Nothing to complain about. Besides, I had some good conversation with a younger lady next to me in the waiting room who was getting a hysterectomy!... So I will say I'm doing just fine... And I do remember this video. And, I again am a huge nerd for posting this! Glory be to God!

Surgery... Yeah!

Because of a 90% blockage on my right side and a 50% blockage on my left I am having surgery to fix the problem and help me breathe better... and stop drainage into my respiratory tract from and inflammed turbinate and mucosa. Ironically I do not snore or have any trouble sleeping (except when my boys need me in the middle of the night) but ENT specialist Dr. (Feely) said I probably got hit in the nose at some point (probably from soccer) which deviated my septum and allowed my turbinate to grow into Godzilla to fill the void. The turbinate's role in sleeping is very interesting... Google it. Anyhow, I am bored as I wait for anesthesia... And I am a big nerd... Therefore you get this post. Here we go!
