Joshua saw this double replacement reaction with a yellow precipitate on the cover of my Journal of Chem Ed. He said he "wanted to do that" so when I had to run into school to set something up I set him up with some lead 2 nitrate and potassium iodide solutions he could mix. He liked that he could make the yellow appear! Then came the question... 'why does that happen daddy?!'
